An exciting opportunity has arisen to become an Office Assistant for a rapidly expanding business. In this role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of administrative and office management tasks, assisting the Office Manager and providing key support to the Reception team. The successful candidate will report to and work alongside the Office Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Office Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the London office.
- Providing support and cover for the Receptionist team, including adhering to a shift rota for lunchtime, holiday, and unplanned absences.
- Assisting with all aspects of office administration, such as managing travel arrangements and supporting employee visa applications.
- Overseeing day-to-day office operations, such as organizing stationery and paper supplies, stocking fridges, and conducting daily stock checks.
- Responding to enquiries and completing general administrative tasks.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident and personable when communicating with clients and colleagues of all levels.
- Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, particularly with travel arrangements.
- Enthusiastic and eager to assist with all tasks.
- Aware and observant of daily happenings and proactive in addressing issues.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Comfortable with multitasking and working as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible, positive attitude, and adaptable to change.
- Happy to be in office 5 days a week
